Our NEW monthly themes are an initiative to encourage you to join in and share your experience on the Beltane website, learn from other expertise within the partnership and together we can build a bank of collective wisdom!
This month - every contributor is in with a chance of winning their choice of a Podcasting Kit OR a HD Flipcam to help get research out on to the web!*

What do you have to do?
All you have to do is submit something which would be useful to share on the Beltane website. This could be directly relevant to our current podcasting/video theme (e.g. Choosing software/hardware; Presenting to camera) or relevant to public engagement in general (e.g. Choosing an audience; Creating good content; Identifying your key message). More suggestions at http://www.edinburghbeltane.net/news/video-podcast-new-beltane-themes.
Examples of format include:
- List of your top links (with brief sentence explaining why they are so useful) or your ‘top tips’;
- Quick video tutorial (<3min);
- Your case study detailing how you have used video/audio to engage the public.

T&C ("the small print")
- Final date for entries: 12 noon, 8th March 2011. Unfortunately, entries submitted after this will not be eligible for the prize draw;
- To enter: Please create a wiki page and submit the link to info@edinburghbeltane.net, or submit your item directly to info@edinburghbeltane.net. We will endeavour to acknowledge each item received, and inform you if your item is ineligible (and what can be done to modify this);
- Only entrants linked to a Beltane partner are eligible to enter the prize draw;
- The winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received;
- Multiple entries are allowed – i.e. if you submit multiple items, you will have a higher chance of winning;
- The winner will be informed on or before 9th March 2011.
