Society for the Study of Nanoscience and Emerging Technologies Conference 2012
Call for papers: deadline 2 April 2012

S.NET invites contributions to the Fourth Annual meeting of The Society for the Study of Nanoscience and Emerging Technologies (S.NET), to be held at the University of Twente, the Netherlands, on October 22-25, 2012. The four-day conference will assemble scholars, practitioners and policy makers from around the world interested in the development and implications of emerging technologies.

The 2012 International Conference on Science Communication, "Science Communication: International Perspectives, Issues and Strategies", will take place in Nancy from the 2nd to the 7th September 2012. The conference will be of interest to anyone who works in the fields of culture and science communication, and to coordinators, researchers, post-graduate students.

The University Museums Group (UMG) and the NCCPE are partnering to host a one day conference - Impact and Evaluation-Learning Together - which is also the UMG Annual Conference. The conference will take place on Tuesday 7th February 2012, at The Great North Museum, Newcastle

The Interpretive Policy Analysis Conference 2012 - Understanding the Drama of Democracy: Policy Work, Power and Transformation will take place on the 5-7 July 2012 at the University of Tilburg, Netherland.

The National HE STEM Programme and the National Co-ordinating Centre for Public Engagement are collaborating to host their Bringing science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) curricula to life through public engagement conference on the 1st March 2012. The conference will be held at Aston Conference Centre, University of Aston

Registration for this event opens early December, and the full speakers and workshop list will be announced shortly.

Making Knowledge Count is an event organised by AURIL in partnership with the National Coordinating Centre for Public Engagement and the Beacons for Public Engagement.  It will be held on Thursday 2 February 2012 at Woburn House Conference Centre in London.  Cost to AURIL members is £95 and £125 to non-members.

CRFR 10th Anniversary National Conference: Influencing society: the impact of social research

The Realising a Culture of Environmental Sustainability: Festivals, Events and Tourism Seminar, organised jointly by the Edinburgh Institute: Festivals, Events, and Tourism (EIFET) and The Edinburgh Centre for Low Carbon Innovation & Skills (ECCC) will take place on 24 November 2011 at the ECCC, 15 South College Street.

The 5th Living Knowledge conference will be held at the Gustav-Stresemann Institut, Bonn, on 10 - 12 May 2012. It will provide an opportunity for policy makers, academics and civil society organisations to consider current practice and future opportunities in the field of research partnerships.
